Constantine House Update

Following the results of a comprehensive thermal survey and report, we are thrilled to confirm that the new design proposals will enable the building's EPC rating to be upgraded from E to A. Once works have been completed, the amount of energy required to heat the property will be greatly reduced, which means a greater degree of comfort for our guests, an overall reduction in carbon dioxide emissions and cheaper energy bills. LED lighting is also being introduced to reduce electricity consumption, all the more important in light of the recent soaring energy costs.

This is part of the wider Estate strategy to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, preserve the embodied carbon in existing buildings by finding a new use for them, and build a more sustainable future for our built environment.
