Step inside
an idyllic, boutique retreat in the beautiful British countryside
Built in the Victorian era, Constantine House was originally designed to take generous care of the Estate management and staff. Sitting on the most prominent position of the farm, with large windows, high ceilings and rich red brick, the house was a labour of love.
Today, the building has been extensively renovated to provide guests with a peaceful and restorative experience. Historic features have been sensitively balanced with modern additions including all new bathrooms with walk-in showers, a welcoming reception area, cosy reading snug and a lounge-come-dining room with huge, floor to ceiling windows offering unrivalled countryside vistas.
The twenty-one bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to a minimalist, scandi-inspired brief. With scenic views, king-size beds, luxury Hypnos mattresses, comfortable linens and pillows, you can expect a calm and restful sleep. Each bedroom has a modern en-suite bathroom with artisan skincare products hand-picked to compliment our love for nature.
The interior decor uses natural materials and a soft colour palette to enhance the tranquillity of the surroundings, accented by contemporary light fixtures and curated wall art. Designer furniture is included in most bedrooms, while upcycled antique oak tables and slate countertops provide a balance to the ultra modern dining area. New double-glazed sash windows, floor and roof insulation, and LED lighting ensure the house is highly energy efficient, with heating and hot water provided by our very own on-site renewable energy plant.
